Security instructions should be issued to personnel for care of equipment when used away from the office.
Lock you laptop to an immovable object when working in a train or in a coffee bar, limiting the chances for an opportunistic thief.
Keep your belongings in sight when on the move and never leave your laptop unattended.
Do not leave your laptop in a vehicle, if you must place it in the boot, ensuring it is covered up and out of view and secured.
Never leave a meeting or conference room without your laptop, lock it down or take it with you, or it may not be there when you go back.
